The Bjørkmans

The latest about me and my girls.......

And so another year comes to a close.

This is generally the time when we all look back on the year past, remembering all the good times and the things that stood out to us.

Who made a difference in my life this year?

Well, for me I owe it a lot to my amazing wife, who gets me through the tough times and is there to spend the good times with.
And my loving daughters, who always seem to challenge me, keeping me on my toes and making sure that there is never a dull moment.
The rest of my family also means a lot to me.
Always there when you need them.
Family comes first...!!!

(Sparklers are the way to go...)

We also tend to look back and wonder if there was
anything more that we could have done.
The answer to that is, NO.!!
2008 was a whole second longer than 2009 will be so I hope that you spent that second wisely as it will be a while before we get another "free" second.
(What Second?)

To end off this year, I pray that everyone will enjoy a wonderful 2009
and that all your dreams come true.........

See you in 2009...!!!!

Happy Birthday!!!

The 2 Capricorns.!

Opening the Gifts....!!!

Nothing like a multi-purpose gift........

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas from the Bjørkmans..!!!!

And to all, a Good Night...!!!!!

Today is Elaina's Birthday.

The old saying of, "they sure grow up fast" could never be more true.
When asked how old she is turning she promptly replies,
"I'm 5 years old".

So yes, time does fly...

Today the trip went towards Copenhagen where we had lots of fun with Aunt Kizzie and Uncle Daniel.

Activities included,

Feeding the Christmas Donkeys...

and of course, creating delicious Christmas treats.....

Thank you both for a wonderful day and all the fun we had.

Merry Christmas!!!

As you all might know, we have been dealing with a case of Whooping Cough which both Leona and Elaina have had for over a month now.

Low and below Kassia seemed to show the same symptoms that we had seen with the other girls so we decided to have her admitted to Hospital for observation.
Whooping Cough can be pretty bad with babies especially so we did not want to take any chances.
Tests later showed that Kassia does indeed have Whooping cough.
Tabitha spent five days in hospital with Kassia in isolation to contain any further spread. Whooping cough is not that common in Denmark and a lot of doctors have never seen it before making it hard to diagnose.
The staff was very sweet and helpful during the time in hospital doing all they could to make it as bearable as possible for them both.
Kassia is back home now, still sick but not as bad as she was before.

THANK YOU ALL for your prayers for our girls.
We couldn't do it without you..!!

We will keep you all posted of any further devolpments.

Merry Christmas...!!!!
